Registration for Landscape Architects

We made the registration process as simple as possible. If you will experience difficulties, don’t hesitate to write to lila@landezine.com.This year, offices practicing landscape architecture can submit one or more entries in multiple categories: office, public landscape and private residential garden. For each of the three categories there is jury award and public choice award so altogether landscape architects can compete for 6 awards. How to Submit

1. Download folder structure (.zip)
2. Fill the folders with images and texts according to included instructions
3. Zip the entire folder and send it back to us via www.wetransfer.com to lila@landezine.com OR simply send us the link to the file on your server …
4. Pay the participation fee

Participation fee costs 150 euros for the first entry and 100 for each consecutive entry:

1 entry = 150 euros (roughly $185 or £133)
2 entries = 250 euros (roughly $310 or £220)
3 entries = 350 euros (roughly $430 or £310)
4 entries = 450 euros (roughly $555 or £400)
… and so on …

material for OFFICE category

The jury will be looking for offices practicing landscape architecture that demonstrate experiment and advanced approaches to design process. Offices need to submit office profile following simple instructions below. Office must be at least 2 years old and have at least one project built. Existing entries from LILA 2016 and 2017 will automatically be considered, no further action is required. If you want to see what other offices submitted so far click here.

1. Download folder structure (.zip) to be filled with the material. If you don’t want to submit in all categories, simply leave other folders empty or delete them.
2. Basic Office Data – fill in the data in the included text file
3. Office Philosophy text – max 3500 characters with spaces
4. include a photo of office members or partners. This photo will be the main image of your entry. If you don’t want to show people please include a photo of office space. Photos of projects are not accepted for the main image in Office Award category. (jpeg, min-width 2500px, landscape orientation if possible)
5. select 3 to 5 of the best projects designed by your office. At least one of the submitted projects must be built landscape architecture project, others can be proposals, competitions, also other types of projects like exhibitions, books …
5a. Include description text for each project (max 1500 characters with spaces)
5b. include up to 9 images per project (photos + graphics, jpeg, min width 2000px)
6. include signed Terms&Conditions

 

material for PUBLIC LANDSCAPE PROJECT

The jury will also be looking for built, publicly accessible landscape architecture projects, built in 2014 or later. Offices can submit any number of their best works. Existing eligible entries from LILA 2016 and 2017 will automatically be considered, no further action is required. One office can submit any number of entries in the public landscape project category. One office can submit any number of public landscape projects. If you want to see what other offices submitted so far click here.

1. select 1 or more projects designed by your office. If you want to include more projects, feel free to copy/paste the folders.
2. Download the folders (.zip) to be filled with the material. If you don’t want to submit in all categories, leave other category folders empty or simply delete them.
3. choose 9-30 jpeg images that best represent each project you are submitting. Images should be at least 2000px wide. Move the photos into the “9-30 jpeg images-min 2000px width” folder in the downloaded folder structure
4. paste project description text in the text file in the folders. Max length is 5000 characters with spaces. Write about why your entry should be awarded.
5. select main project image that will represent your project throughout LILA website. Put it in the “Project main photo min 2500px width landscape format” folder
6. if you haven’t already, read, sign and scan Terms&Conditions included in the folder

material for PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL GARDEN

The jury will be looking for strictly private residential gardens from backyards to estates that were built in 2012 or later. Offices can submit any number of entries. Publicly accessible residential parks (housing) and short-term rentals, such as resorts, hotels, bars and other hospitality premisses will NOT be judged by the jury if submitted. One office can submit any number of entries in the garden category.

1. select 1 or more private residential gardens designed by your office
2. Download the folders (.zip) to be filled with the material. If you don’t want to submit in all categories, leave other category folders empty or simply delete them. If you want to include more gardens, feel free to copy/paste the ‘gardens’ folder.
3. choose 9-30 jpeg images that best represent each project you are submitting. Images should be at least 2000px wide. Move the photos into the “9-30 jpeg images-min 2000px width” folder in the downloaded folder structure
4. paste project description text in the text file in the folders. Max length is 5000 characters with spaces. Write about why your entry should be awarded.
5. select main project image that will represent your project throughout LILA website. Put it in the “Project main photo min 2500px width landscape format” folder
6. if you haven’t already, read, sign and scan Terms&Conditions included in the folder

We also accept videos, but only if they are already published on YouTube or Vimeo. Simply include a link to your video.
