The project is a redesign of the outdoor areas and main arrival area at Novo Nordisk headquarters. The landscape orchestrates the innovative and sustainable profile of the company. The landscape design is carried out in poetic manner and intermingles the large scale industrial area with great variety of old and new architecture and distinctive steel silos. Furthermore, the landscape design aspires to emphasize the impressive main building. The remarkable facility has been created with fine details to impress both guests and employees.
The original arrival area is moved, and furthermore the whole site is divided into different zones to emphasize the characteristics and core of Novo Nordisk. The new landscape design is carried out in a graphic style with greenery, molding of the earth, distinctive steel elements as well as sculptural features, components from the production are used in the landscape design to create a counter play to the factory’s buildings.
The overall design describes the stages of production, collaborations and visions such as sustainability and precision.
