Chih-Wei G.V. Chang is an Associate at SWA Group and Co-Chair of ASLA International Practice Professional Network (PPN), facilitating knowledge exchange and international collaborations. He is a member of Environmental Water Resource Institute (EWRI) at ASCE, and his practices have been focusing on integrated landscape solutions for environmental challenges. Mr. Chang believes landscape architecture is not only the practice of professional knowledge in arts and sciences, but a medium to advocate awareness and foster stewardship between people and land. Several of his pilot initiatives received Chinese regional restoration grants, and were recognized by ASLA professional awards. Mr. Chang leads an urban watershed design studio locally at San Francisco’s Academy of Art University, and is an active member of International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA).
