The status quo of the site has many decades of native trees, tall banyan trees, mango trees, growing on sites of different heights, as if growing in mid-air. Designed to maximize the retention of the original tree. In the name of art story, tell a story of “art forest”.

Concept evolution
In the early design intervention phase, we considered many questions, such as: how to solve the problem of the depth of the site? How can current big trees be better preserved and used? The project is close to the main road of the city. How will the image display surface be created? How can local culture be tapped? The project needs to carry ten years of development influence, how can the land be elevated to project quality and achieve sustainable aesthetic needs in the future?
We carried out this design with a series of questions, integrating the complex urban, environmental, cultural, and status quo issues with a comprehensive design approach.

The landscape takes the “suspended forest” as the design concept, with the design goal of returning to nature. Priority should be given to using reserved large banyan trees to make space. The themes of art landscape space are: a window, a water, a bamboo road, a ridge tree, a deer, a home, a bridge, and an art hall. The design uses rustic design techniques to fully respect the status quo and display the natural and authentic content of the landscape.
The landscape design and the architectural language are harmonious and unified, and the space is integrated.

A [ Window ] · Dialogue with the city
A white box emerges from the luxuriant trees and becomes a window for dialogue with the city, forming a dialogue relationship with the person being watched.

In the horizontal front court space, the building is like a few wings resting on the water surface. The green island is winding and winding, and the beautiful flowing lines surround each other. The space is leisurely and powerful. It is like an unfolding landscape picture.

Entering the front court space, the hustle and bustle of the city is quieted down instantly, and the steps flow to the building and to the water’s edge, forming a space that blends with the eaves of the building.

Walking through the floating channel in the water, the horizontal case name is suspended on the surface of the water through the glass carrier, which is connected with the horizontal overlapping water, accompanied by the sound of the flowing water of the streams, showing the artistic temperament of space.
As the portal image of the eastern development area, the spiritual fortress “Longmen” is the visual focus of the city. It stands on the water with the unique style of the portal.

The “wing” is like an angel in a picture scroll, falling silently on the water surface, becoming the finishing touch in the space. The sculpture is superimposed with finely carved feathers, and golden light shines through the gap at night. More than 3,000 feather scales, 45 polished day and night, artificial assembly, to ensure the uniform light transmission and smooth transition of each gap.

“Bamboo” tilted towards the middle, covering the sky, and “light” passed through the bamboo gap and sprinkled on the road. The white wall, the light band, the distant dream hole combined with the infinite possibilities of mirror refraction, create a space with reverie charm.

A space that surrounds the current big banyan tree, art description forest, natural branches and leaves pattern extends outward from the root of the big banyan tree, and at the same time look for the elements of Foshan flower, and evolve into a pattern of petals like white magnolia. The star light has also become the main element of leaf shape.

The rectangular space enclosed by the volcano ficus is embedded in the white pane to form an interesting empty partition. The ficus tree is integrated into the tree house, and the artistic installation is suspended in the air.
– Photos 23-25
The design of the tree house draws on Yayoi Kusama’s “Infinite Mirror House” design concept. The use of the mirror surface amplifies the visual experience of green plants and forms different frame scenes. For the current big tree, surrounded by tempered glass, it reveals the natural trunk shape.

The bench leaned against the window and framed a painting of green island and trees. The quiet and distant feeling of returning home made people nostalgic.

The straight lines run through the woods, across the lawn, and extend into another space. The clear glass railing makes it more concise and natural, and the light makes it lighter at night.
The “Life Aesthetics Pavilion” is the center for showing the core culture. It outputs the development goals of the next ten years. It is the inner harbor and the soul where the thoughts collide.
