Satit P.I.M. is a high school which strives for excellence in management and communication. “Education is the matrix of intellect.” The idea for Landscape Architecture of the school is come from the philosophy of the school which cultivate life skills for students who study here. The main concept of the landscape is to respond to young students’ activities and encourage them to interact not only among themselves but also with the surrounding nature.

Dynamics of social space

Due to limitation of landscape area, Fluid-Scape provides the solution that maximizes multiple usages and flexible function as much as possible. Linear Pattern creates sense of direction and allocation of spaces. Fluid Benches formed out of the waving wooden deck, raising from the floor and shaped as a seat, table and stand are uniquely designed to serve multiple usages. Also they integrated into a mini botanical garden surrounding the activity area to encourage students to come closer to the nature through scent of the flower and shade of the trees. Orchard farm are intentionally plant to enhance the understanding of natural diversity. Create “Natural Classroom” which encourage and increase opportunities for student to reconnect with nature. Students experience freedom to explore nature while relaxing or learning. Student can create their own imagination to do homework, play, relax or gather for outdoor classes or the school’s special. This new visual element has attracted the students, parents and teachers to its walkways and nature. Its three-dimensional surface integrates structure and form in a unique wave that undulates dramatically over and creating seating areas inside every upward segment. This new visual element generated a child’s social development through dynamic curves and also has attracted the students, parents and teachers to its walkway and nature. Ground Floor

The 20 meters width entrance of the project is built to be a steel rail fence, merging with tree to separate the area between public roads and schools. The light gray lattice is insert between the middle to serves as both a guard house and a feature wall create a unique sense of access. Ivy Fence in the back serves as a natural fence for the project, the surrounding city and community. This new visual element has attracted the students, parents and teachers to its walkways and nature. 5th Storey

Table set is designed to generate flow of various activities between or after classes. The area has connection with Art classroom. Student can socialize with their friends while doing homework, sharing food, sitting or simply resting under the cooling shades of Indian Oak trees
