Kristine Jensen is the owner and creative director of Arkitekt Kristine Jensens Tegnestue in Aarhus, DK. With a background in executive landscape architecture, academic research and teaching at Aarhus School of Architecture, Kristine Jensens has a hearty insight and strong experience in landscape architecture and planning. Since 2017 Kristine has been a professor at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation in Copenhagen. The combination of both practical and theoretical experience is fully integrated in the studio’s approach to architecture. Through her 30 years of practice Kristine Jensen has received a number of grants and awards for her work, including the Danish Arts Foundation’s 3-year grant (2000-2002), ROSA BARBA (2008) and the Eckersberg Medallion (2013). Furthermore Kristine Jensen received the prestigious Nykredit Architecture Prize 2014 for her general work.
