Andrew van Egmond

Born in Canada and raised in The Netherlands, Andrew is the founder of Andrew van Egmond / Designing Garden & Landscape. Andrew worked for the Dutch company OKRA Landscape Architects for 11 years. His work on a wide range of national and international projects at OKRA created a solid foundation for his conceptual and context based design approach.

Andrew also was part of the Studio BLAD team for 3 years where he worked on several public and semi-public landscape projects.

Andrew won the LILA 2020 Ex-Aequo in the Garden category with the project Anticipating The Landscape.

Currently based in The Netherlands and British Columbia, Canada, Andrew is engaged in a diverse selection of projects, with a deepening focus on strengthening the local eco system and developing a narrative about the under laying landscape.
