By designing WOODY our aim was to create a high quality and affordable urban bench. Its simple structure and smooth shape makes it usable in a variety of environments. The legs are made of white concrete, the seat is made entirely of redwood or oak. Its components are easily transportable. Double, triple versions with or without backrest are available.
The key element in this product is the classic turn on the traditional street bench, combined with the raw simplicity of modern concrete. Natural and industrial materials blend together in this minimal, but nevertheless, timeless piece. WOODY supplements urban life by providing the perfect spot for a comfortable lounging session or a casual randez-vous. It is a laid-back public furniture piece, that has become integral part of numerous venues in the city of Budapest, becoming a concrete design jewel for locals, but could just as well serve any other city in the world.
